Award RIBA South Award 2023
Eton Sports and Aquatics Centre is an excellent example of robust modern architecture that combines firmness, commodity, and delight – those three fundamental qualities famously specified by the Ancient Roman architect Vitruvius as necessary to any well-designed building. Built on the site of a former outdoor pool, the facility boasts a 25-metre pool and a four-court multi-use sports hall complete with changing, support, and spectator facilities.
