In its 10th year, RIBA Journal’s annual Eye Line drawing competition received submissions from students and practitioners from the UK and further afield – and continued to celebrate the best work in both categories.

Together with our judges – respected practitioners and academics in their own right – we sought out submissions that brilliantly communicate architecture, whether depictions of existing buildings or works of the imagination. Every year we are gratified by the originality, wit and talent represented in the entries; and, for the first time in over two years, we were happy to showcase them once again in 2022.
