The RIBA has launched a competition to create an inspiring place for learning at our London headquarters at 66 Portland Place, made possible with a generous grant from the Clore Duffield Foundation.
The new Clore Learning Centre will include a dedicated studio, study room, terrace and interactive display area. It will showcase the value of good design for effective teaching and learning and will provide an inspirational setting for hands-on, creative activities for a range of audiences, from children and families to lifelong learners.
The new spaces are part of our national learning programme that includes creative workshops, walks, talks and the RIBA National Schools Programme, which has supported 200 RIBA members in engaging 4,000 primary and secondary school children since September 2015.
The RIBA competition is open to current RIBA Chartered Members and Chartered Practices; deadline for entry is 2pm (BST) on Friday 14 July 2017.
