Business Support Helpline
Get expert advice and the right support to protect your business by using the Business Support Helpline, which is included in your Chartered Practice membership. It is unlimited telephone advice from qualified experts and a business library exclusive to Chartered Practices, provided by Croner. Please note that this is a business rate number, and you will be charged at a local rate.
The Business Support Helpline is available 24 hours a day on 0844 561 8133. Callers should quote scheme number 99801.
Chartered Practices can receive unlimited telephone advice from Croner on the following:
- UK Health and Safety legislation covering such topics as COSHH, reporting an accident, working at height, risk assessments, asbestos, fire, manual handling, display screen equipment, noise, air sampling, legionella, dust, construction, first aid, accidents, and more
- Financial matters covering such topics as tax, VAT, PAYE, payroll, and National Insurance
- UK and Scotland employment legislation covering topics such as employer obligations, maternity, paternity and other family friendly policies, grievances, dismissal, holiday, sick pay, contracts and other employment documentation
- Commercial Legal covers such topics as landlord and tenancy, company law, copyright and patent, disputes (payment & contractual)

To help keep you on top of the latest workplace legislation and business advice, RIBA provide Chartered Practices with access to Croner support, templates and resources as well as free in-person events and webinars.
