"We will adopt the new International Property Measurement Standard introduced in January 2016, which will future-proof the way we measure government buildings and ensure consistency across the UK and internationally."
Rt Hon. Matthew Hancock MP, UK Government Minister for the Cabinet Office.
The International Property Measurement Standard (IPMS) will ensure that property assets are measured in a consistent way, creating a more transparent marketplace, greater public trust, stronger investor confidence, and increased market stability.
