This 100m² single-storey family home, designed to Passivhaus Plus standards, combines ultra-low energy use with on-site solar power generation. Set in a rural farmstead, the home is being constructed with EcoCocon straw wall panels and other natural materials, ensuring outstanding energy performance and a healthy living environment.
With a fabric-first approach, the design prioritises airtightness, thermal efficiency, and minimal embodied carbon. Currently under construction - and targeting Passivhaus Plus certification - the project offers a rare opportunity to observe sustainable building techniques and high-performance detailing in progress.
