Take time out for an afternoon at The Newt in Somerset, where you’ll explore the Roman Villa Experience with Nicola du Pisanie of Stonewood Design and Ric Weeks from The Newt.
This event is a unique opportunity to delve into the history and architecture of these award winning buildings as well as spend time with friends and colleagues in the estate’s beautiful surroundings.
The ticket price includes access to The Newt and a welcome drink and snack at the Cyder Bar on arrival.
Shuttle buses are available if required to the museum.

Stonewood Design is a pioneering architecture practice specialising in projects spanning single dwellings, housing, community, and education buildings as well as cultural and arts.
Established in 2010 in Bath, this creative collective was founded on the principal of bringing like-minded individuals together to deliver unconventional design and buildings that inspire.
About The Newt
The Newt in Somerset is a working country estate with acres of farmland, woodland, orchards and gardens. The gardens are open daily for visitors to explore and enjoy the restaurants, farm shops, Cyder Cellar and The Story of Gardening Experience.
The Newt is also home to RIBA Award winning Roman Villa Experience - comprised of a contemporary museum and fully reconstructed Roman villa. The project is sited over excavated Roman remains originally discovered in the 1830s that remained undeveloped until 2015 when further excavations by archaeologists revealed the existence of the magnificent Hadspen Roman Villa, which now forms the basis for the new visitor experience.
