We are delighted to invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening as we unveil the seven most outstanding buildings in North West from the past year, culminating in the announcement of this year’s RIBA North West Award winners.
This year we are enhancing the experience by showcasing each shortlisted project before revealing the winners.
Seven projects - including a children’s mental health clinic and outpatient unit, a landmark multi-use cultural space, and lavish Grade II* municipal offices transformed into a hotel - have been shortlisted for RIBA North West Awards.
The shortlisted projects are:

- Langdale Chase Hotel by Campbell Driver Partnership Ltd.
- Lighthouse Church by shedkm
- The Catkin Centre and Sunflower House by Cullinan Studio with 10architect
- The Municipal Hotel and Spa by M:Gallery by Falconer Chester Hall
- The School of Science, Engineering and Environment (SEE) Building, University of Salford by Sheppard Robson
- Vestige by Smith Young Architects
We’re also delighted to announce that the host for the evening will be Andrew Edwards.
About Andrew Edwards
Andrew is an event host, university teacher, trainer, and broadcaster. A presenter at BBC Radio Leeds for thirty years until 2023, including 15 hosting the breakfast show, Andrew’s also made a number of award-winning documentaries including ‘Major at the Music Hall’ with former Prime Minister John Major.

Getting there
The World Museum is conveniently located near the entrance to the Queensway Tunnel. Please be aware that ongoing roadworks in Liverpool city centre may cause delays, so we recommend allowing extra time for your journey.
There is no on-site parking, but pay and display parking is available nearby on William Brown Street and Hunter Street. The closest car park is at Queen Square. Here, guests receive a 20% discount at Q-Park – Liverpool ONE when booking online in advance using the code: MOLQPL20.
The nearest station is Liverpool Lime Street, located just a 6-minute walk from the museum.
Nearest bus and coach stations are Queens Square bus station and Liverpool One bus station.
