The RIBA North West practice and education group have organised this forum to support practices in the region to improve their social value offer and incorporate it into project bids.
This is an introductory session hearing from people and practices who are experienced in this. We will have a follow-up session after the summer to explore examples and case studies from suppliers and contractors, and other contacts.
The event will take the form of an interactive panel discussion featuring architects and built environment professionals with differing approaches to social value.
The panel discussion will also be available online for those who aren't able to make it in person.
Please indicate if you'd like an online or in person ticket when you book.
The panel
- Holly Wilkinson, Architect and Social Value Lead at Hawkins \ Brown
- Natalie Sarabia-Johnstone, Southgate & Sarabia Architects
- Kelly Watson, Director at Hatch Urban Solutions and part of the RIBA Social Value Toolkit Working Group
- Speaker from Loop Social Value Consultancy
The panel will be chaired by Practice and Education Group chairs; Stephen McCusker, Architect and Educator, and Victoria Adegoke, Architect at TADW Architects and teacher of BA3 at Manchester School of Architecture.
