RIBA South Essex Chapter of Architects is organising a guided visit to Beechwood West, a major Swan Housing development in Basildon. We will be guided by the architects, Pollard Thomas Edwards, and also have an opportunity to meet residents and see inside at least one occupied house.
The development is notable not only for its striking aesthetics, but for its high density and modular off-site construction technology.
The visit will take place at 3:00pm (ending at approximately 5:30pm) on Wednesday 17th May. RIBA members may join the visit for no charge, but must register in advance as numbers are strictly limited. We hope you are able to join us!
