About this event

For the next evening in the 'A piECE of their mind' series, Adelina Fasan from Níall McLaughin Architects will discuss the idea of placemaking, focusing on a range of projects set within diverse contexts. She will present a project in a rich urban and historic setting, where Níall McLaughlin Architects’ project acts as a bridge between residential and institutional scales.

Other projects are surrounded by nature and manmade nature, allowing an interesting dialogue between architecture and landscape. Further, she will talk about a recent project located in industrial docks, an area that will be subject to aggressive and substantial redevelopment over the next decade.

About Adelina Fasan

Adelina joined Níall McLaughlin Architects in 2014 and became an Associate in 2021. Adelina studied architecture at ETH Zurich and at USI Mendrisio. She has been actively involved in several of the practice’s higher education, cultural and private residential projects.
