For students and adults aged 18 and over, all abilities.
Join model maker and papercut artist, Ellie Sampson, for an introduction into the intricacies of architectural sketch modelling. Make your own scaled down solutions for a tricky terrain inspired by the ‘Difficult Sites: Architecture Against the Odds’ exhibition.
Learn some of the basic skills needed to make neat and carefully crafted models and folded paper forms. We will create quick response models to test techniques. Moving on to examine a site to create a few test models responding to the terrain of the site and then a final idea for your new model building.
