First nationwide architecture schools programme

Helping children explore and understand the built environment

Architecture Adventures

RIBA Learning is very excited to announce its brand new Key Stage one and two storytelling sessions that explore the extraordinary history of RIBA.

This free storytelling session aims to introduce primary school pupils to what architecture is, the extraordinary history of the Royal Institute of Architecture, and its remarkable home, 66 Portland Place.

Schools can take part in these sessions on the following dates:

  • October 16, 2024
  • November 13, 2024
  • December 18, 2024
  • January 15, 2025
  • February 12, 2025
  • March 12, 2025

Session times are 10.30am to 11.30am and midday to 1pm.

RIBA can provide a free lunch space before or after workshops.

RIBA National Schools Programme

The Royal Institute of British Architects National Schools Programme aims to help children explore and understand the built environment: its impact on people and communities; how it is shaped and developed; and why good design is important. It empowers children to develop their thoughts on architecture and make their voice heard in the debate.
